Ice Walking/Pushing

Thanks to Bryan and Kate, Braeden had his first experience on ice skates. The good news? He kept trying. The bad news? Well, he really didn't skate - just basically made his way around the rink - holding onto the walker. But... there's always next week. By the way, the man in the video is "Coach Jim," who wants to teach the world to skate, one kid at a time.

Cousin Sledding

Bryan, Aaron and the boys came over Sunday afternoon to go sledding. Jack's snowboard was a big hit (with everyone!) We had a lot of fun even though the sledding was a little slow because the snow was too deep.

This is what Robbie looked like after his attempt on Jack's snowboard.

Once again, Braeden is trying to eat snow.

Here's Wiley after a crash.

Here's Luke - I love his rosy cheeks!

Jack on his snowboard.

Here's Cole taking his snowboard turn.

Aaron decided to make snowballs with the snowball maker - which didn't work too well with the powdery snow. So... he took his gloves off to help pack the snowball - once he did this, Cole wanted to take his mittens off, too. Not a good idea! That was the beginning of the end.

A short video of Cole and Bryan sledding.

Winter Concert

The winter concert at Wiley's school was held today. It was awesome. We are very fortunate to have a music teacher that goes above and beyond.

Here's Wyn - leading the Kindergartners in a song.

Wiley - getting ready to sing.

This is the afternoon Kindergarten classes. Wiley is in the back row, 2nd from the end on the right side.

Here's Jack during the 1st grade portion. He's in the middle of performing some of the motions in the song.

Here's Wiley's group singing, "Love Is Something If You Give It Away."

Kindergarten Basketball!

There's nothing quite like basketball for kindergartners. Wiley started Mini-Hoop on Sat. He has several weeks of dribbling, shooting and passing instruction waiting for him!
